The HKS UEL (Unequal Length) manifold with integrated metal catalytic converter is one of the few manifolds that can actually be legally registered for the GT86 and BRZ VFL in Germany – and exclusively through MPS Engineering, which has created its own exhaust certificate for this purpose.
This makes this manifold currently the only TÜV-compliant UEL solution for the FA20 engine, combining full performance and road legality.

Recommendation for Tuning
During installation, it is strongly recommended to perform a software adjustment (ECU Remap). This is the only way to fully exploit the manifold's potential and optimally tune the engine management to the changed exhaust values. The result is a harmonious power delivery with noticeably more torque and a more direct throttle response.
