While there have been various functional LED and Xenon solutions for the VLAND headlights on the GT86/BRZ I, there has yet to be a truly satisfactory option with road-legal bulbs. We have specifically addressed this by taking the OSRAM NIGHT BREAKER LED SMART H7 and crafting our own adapter, which allows the bulbs to sit securely and cleanly in the VLAND headlights. The adapter is specifically tailored to the VLAND socket, marked with "Top," and fits precisely into the tab of the green retaining clip. Thanks to the recess in the adapter, there is also enough space for the original rubber plug in the rear headlight cover to be reinstalled.
The NIGHT BREAKER LED SMART H7 delivers cold-white light at 6000 K and 1550 lm with a power consumption of only 16 W.

Note on Road Legality
We want to be transparent here: The OSRAM NIGHT BREAKER LED SMART H7 has an ABG-based road approval in Germany, but this expressly applies only to vehicles and headlights tested by OSRAM and listed in their compatibility list. The GT86/BRZ I in combination with VLAND headlights is currently not explicitly listed there. The VLAND headlights themselves possess an ECE approval mark. Our solution is therefore technically sound and uses a tested brand-name bulb, but the combination of the VLAND headlight and the OSRAM LED is not fully covered by the OSRAM ABG.
