RAVENOL ETC Concentrate Protect C12evo is a high-quality radiator antifreeze concentrate based on modern Si-OAT technology. It reliably protects the cooling system from frost, corrosion, and thermal stress, making it ideal for modern aluminum engines and cooling systems.
A high-quality coolant is particularly important for the Toyota GT86, Toyota GR86, and the Subaru BRZ I and BRZ II, as the FA20 and FA24 boxer engines require clean thermal operation. Whether for service, radiator replacement, engine overhaul, or a complete refill: with RAVENOL C12evo, you get a high-quality concentrate that is mixed cleanly with distilled or demineralized water.
Important: This is a concentrate
This product is not a pre-mixed coolant and must not be used undiluted. The concentrate must be mixed with demineralized or distilled water before use.
We recommend a mixing ratio of 50:50 for year-round operation and optimal radiator protection.
This provides frost protection down to approx. -37 °C and offers an excellent balance of antifreeze, corrosion protection, and heat transfer.
Mixing ratio
- 35 % concentrate / 65 % water: frost protection down to approx. -20 °C
- 50 % concentrate / 50 % water: frost protection down to approx. -37 °C
- 60 % concentrate / 40 % water: frost protection down to approx. -50 °C
Quantity for Toyota GT86 / GR86 and Subaru BRZ
A 1.5-liter bottle of concentrate yields a total of 3.0 liters of ready-to-use coolant when mixed at a 50:50 ratio.
For a complete refill, we recommend:
Toyota GT86 / Subaru BRZ I:
- Manual transmission: approx. 7.2 liters total system capacity
- Automatic transmission: approx. 7.5 liters total system capacity
Toyota GR86 / Subaru BRZ II:
- Manual transmission: approx. 7.4 liters total system capacity
- Automatic transmission: approx. 7.7 liters total system capacity
For a complete refill at a 50:50 mixture, 3 bottles of 1.5 liters of concentrate are required. Together with the appropriate amount of distilled or demineralized water, you will have enough ready-to-use coolant for the refill and some left over for bleeding or topping up.

Application
Before filling, the cooling system should be cleaned, checked for leaks, and flushed. Then, mix the concentrate with distilled or demineralized water in the appropriate ratio and fill. Afterward, allow the engine and heating to warm up, bleed the system properly, and top up with the missing amount.
Recommended replacement interval:
When using RAVENOL ETC Concentrate Protect C12evo, we recommend a change at the latest after approx. 5 years or if the coolant history is unknown/mixed. For Toyota/Subaru OEM Super Coolant, longer intervals apply depending on the vehicle manual, often 11 years or 220,000 km for the first change and 6 years or 120,000 km thereafter. The manufacturer's specifications for the vehicle must be observed.
Note on vehicle approval
RAVENOL ETC Concentrate Protect C12evo meets or exceeds various manufacturer requirements and standards, including but not limited to JIS K 2234 and VW TL 774-L / G12evo. According to our records, an explicit Toyota or Subaru manufacturer approval is not listed. Please check your vehicle's requirements in advance for vehicles under warranty or with specific manufacturer specifications.
