Finally legal! VLAND has managed to provide the headlights for the GT86 and BRZ I with an ECE approval mark. And of course, we immediately secured a batch for you and are pleased to be able to offer them to you.
You can find the ECE documents for your records here and here. However, in order to offer you these headlights cleanly with ECE and without registration, we unfortunately have to sell them without bulbs.
Every headlight sold by us has the ECE approval number permanently embedded in the lens.
Technically, the bulbs from VLAND themselves, linked here and below, with LED and Xenon (D2S) fit perfectly and offer excellent low and high beams. This is even better than the pre-facelift Xenon light.
For proper approval, you may also need to deactivate any existing additional front turn signals, which only affects the GT86 pre-facelift, as only one turn signal is allowed to be active at the front. We offer the turn signal delete from 86pARTs for this purpose. The turn signals installed in the headlight are sequential, i.e. dynamic.
The headlights themselves fit perfectly into both the GT86 pre-facelift/facelift and the BRZ pre-facelift/facelift with the corresponding adapters.
The bulbs of your choice are simply installed from the rear through the flap. The new version of the VLANDs even comes with an electric adjustment motor for headlight leveling. To replace the headlights themselves, you need to remove the front bumper and have the headlights readjusted after replacement.
The price naturally refers to the set of left and right, including the corresponding adapter cables. And it is, of course, the LHD version for European traffic.
