Whiteline KDT995 Front Shift Linkage Bushings for Toyota GR86, GT86 and Subaru BRZ

The Whiteline shift linkage bushing kit replaces the soft factory shift linkage bushings with more precise polyurethane bushings, reducing unwanted movement within the shift mechanism. The result is a more direct shift feel with crisper gear changes and a noticeably more precise connection between the shift lever and the transmission.

The kit provides significantly more defined shifting behavior. Depending on driving style and mileage, the factory bushings allow some movement in the shift linkage, which can make gear changes feel slightly dampened or less precise. The stiffer Whiteline bushings reduce this movement, making the shifting feel more mechanical, direct and controlled.

The KDT995 is also a worthwhile upgrade for first-generation GT86 and BRZ models. Vehicles with higher mileage benefit particularly from the additional stabilization of the shift linkage, as the original rubber bushings can lose their firmness over the years. This not only improves the shift feel but also increases feedback during sporty driving.

The high-quality polyurethane bushings are designed for a long service life and are more resistant to aging, oil and environmental influences than the factory rubber components. They are installed directly at the corresponding bushing points on the shift linkage and can be ideally combined with other shift precision upgrades.
